About Geiger Cattle

Geiger Cattle is a Simmental and SimAngus seedstock operation located in the Loess hills of Doniphan County, Kansas. The cattle operation is owned and managed by Thad and Bobette Geiger with their son Nathan. The herd includes 115 mature cows and 35replacement heifers. Each spring 25 bulls are sold private treaty and groups of heifers are offered throughout the year. The Geigers also produce corn, soybeans and alfalfa and employ a number of conservation practices including miles of terraces, underground tile outlets, and cover crops. The home farm of 600 acres was purchased in 1994 and today the operation covers almost 1400 acres. Along with son Nathan, the Geiger family also includes 3 grown daughters and eleven grandchildren that make this operation a true family farm.
